Sandra's Journey
From Dreams to Healing
Sandra embodies the American Dream. In 2008, she arrived in the United States with her two young children and their father. Starting as a front desk staff at Elements Therapeutic Massage, her dedication and passion quickly led to her promotion to Studio Manager. By 2014, Sandra had earned her State License as a Massage Therapist, launching her own business, Sequana.
However, life threw her a curveball in 2015 when she experienced five transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), forcing her to step back from daily massage practice. Yet, her love for healing remained strong. Embracing new opportunities, Sandra acquired Sandstone Therapeutic Massage in June 2016.
Known as "That Little Hidden Gem," Sandstone Therapeutic Massage has been a staple in the Briarpoint Shopping Plaza since the early 2000s. As the longest-running owner, Sandra proudly celebrates eight years of ownership, attributing her success to her dedicated team and loyal clients, especially through the challenges of COVID-19.
Sandra's passion for helping others dates back to her early career in the hospitality industry in Scotland, where she welcomed many American tour groups for golfing vacations at the Turnberry Hotel. Her journey also includes impactful work at the Dalmahoy Marriott Hotel, where she co-coordinated the famous women's Solheim Cup and Scottish PGA.
As an Oola Certified Coach, Sandra is dedicated to promoting balance, growth, and purpose. She offers a range of services at Sandstone Therapeutic Massage, from therapeutic massages to facials, red light therapy, and more. Sandra’s networking prowess and community involvement, including her roles with the Novi Chamber of Commerce and Novi Rotary Club, underscore her commitment to connecting and supporting others.
