It is with great sadness, and after much thoughtful consideration, that I share the decision to close Sandstone Massage (Sequana Therapeutic Massage LLC) effective December 31, 2025. 

After proudly serving the Novi and surrounding communities since June 2016, this decision was made due to significantly increased operational expenses, ongoing staffing challenges within the massage therapy industry, and sustained utilization of less than 50% of studio capacity. This was not an easy choice, and I am deeply grateful for the trust and support you have shown over the past 9½ years. 

Continuing Your Care 

My highest priority during this transition is to ensure continuity of care and provide clear options for continued massage services. 

Hand & Stone Massage & Facial Spa – Novi 

After some wonderful conversations, I am happy to share that Hand & Stone Massage & Facial Spa, along with owner Erin, who has over 20 years of experience as an Esthetician, is excited to welcome former Sandstone clients beginning January 2, 2026. 

Erin and her team will be reaching out to provide information and answer questions about continuing care or memberships; however, it is entirely your choice whether to schedule services or join a membership at Hand & Stone. All services, scheduling, memberships, and holiday gift certificates are offered under Hand & Stone’s own policies and pricing.

Many clients have been asking about purchasing holiday gift certificates, and while Sandstone Massage will no longer be selling gift certificates, I am happy to share a wonderful option for your holiday gifting needs.
